  The Beat Goes On  Business Letter Writing Project- Student Instructions    Instructions  In this scenario, you are the purchasing agent for The Beat Goes On, which is a store that sells music items. Your manager is Ms. Bee Polite, and your best salesman is Mr. Johnny Handsome. You need to order some new CDs, return some scratched CDs for replacement, send a discipline notice to J. Handsome, and let your boss (Ms. Polite) know how you have handled the problems. This will require thought, creativity, and several styles of communication. Before you can begin, you need some stationary..    All files to be stored in your network folder, in the Business folder.    Assignment 1  Create a business letter head and logo for the company, The Beat Goes On, located at 123 First Street, Savannah, GA 31404. The phone number is 912-777-9311. The email address is [emailprotected] (Include clip art in your letterhead) Save file as an MS Word template. Use file name Beat_Letterhead.dotx.   Create an envelope with The Beat Goes On logo and return address. Save file as Beat_Envelope  Create a business card for Ms. Bee Polite to match. Save file as Beat_Card  Assignment 2  Mrs. Polite asked you to order some music for the store. Create a new document in MS Word using your letterhead template, write a letter in BLOCK Style requesting 25 copies of new CDs (you choose the CD artist  title) to be shipped as soon as possible. Send the letter to attention of Mrs. Ella Green, Music Studios at 32 South McDonald Ave., Detroit, MI 58632. Save file as Music_Studios_Order2  Mrs. Polite sent you a memo to return some damaged CDs. On your letter head, write a letter to Music Studios explaining that you are returning all Beyonce CDs due to scratches on the disc. Ask the company to replace your order with new CDs and ship them as soon as possible. Send the letter to attention of Ms. Nicky Wilson, Returns Dept.
